Do you listen to any talk radio shows?

I listen to a program called Coast To Coast AM. The show is about paranormal things like ghosts, UFOs, time travel, etc.

I get it -Dave Glover - 97.1 FM!!

He's hilarious, and not afraid to speak his mind. I pretty much listen to that station most of the time, couple of other good shows on there.

Paranormal things? Wow, that sounds scary.

Are there any paranormal stories relating to Monroe County? Any stories of ghosts? Any strange sightings of UFO's?

Some local people have talked about ghosts. Recently there was talk about the new YMCA being hanted. I know strange things have happened to me. My wife's Grandpa had just passed away and a few weeks later I proposed to my wife. We did the customary "tell everyone we know" tour of the family.
When we got to her Grandma's house I was driving my 1967 Chevelle. Grandma made a comment that looking out at that car reminded her when her boys had cars like that. When we tried to leave, the car would not start. Everything else worked, but it wouldn't start. I returned the next day with some tools. Grandma said that it was fine where it was. It still would not start. The next day I came back with a tow truck and told her we were going to take it away. She said "I guess you can take it now." The mechanic with me asked me what was wrong with the car and I proceded to show how the key wouldn't start it. Lo and behold the car started on the first crank. Grandpa must of listened to Grandma when she said it was ok to take it. Wierd and Creepy to me!!!
