I'd just like to let everyone know that there is a committee called Civic Progress that meetings the 2nd Monday of the month at City Hall...this month we will have an engineer in talking about ideas for a Main Street Streetscape project for which we received some grant money.
Decorative lights, trees, landscaping, benches, stuff like that. We are wanting to do a 13 block section on Main initally, but hope to develop a them we can expand on in the future.

That sounds like a neat project.
Where are you going to start and stop in the 13 block section on Main? Or has that not been decided yet.

Sorry...I only check this from home.
The initial engineering we requested in the grant is from...I think it's Washington? The Street just South of ICS to Whiteside.
This year we will have the engineering done for all of it and enough construction money to do the block in front of City Hall. Then we resubmit and should get more construction money for the rest.
